Sci submission size requirements
Generally, the size of pictures in sci papers is only specified in width. For example, neuroscilett specifies that the half width (single column) is 8.3cm, and the full width (double column) 17.6cm.

Three principles of image processing in this article:

1, the original image should be kept, and the modified image must be saved, and the original image cannot be overwritten;

2, try to reduce the number of saves, so as not to lose the image quality, and you can make many changes one by one before saving;

3. All operations must not distort the image, and any modification that affects the authenticity of the image is not allowed.

Jigsaw requirements:

It is impossible to make the above modifications directly on the original drawing. Generally, several pictures or some pictures are distributed on a canvas, which requires material collection, splicing, labeling and other steps, so it is called a puzzle here. This step is carried out after obtaining the original drawing, and then refer to the first part for modification after completion.
