Research on Logistics Module in ERP

With the continuous development of enterprise informatization, the function of ERP is gradually improved, and many new modules are added, among which logistics management is a very important part. This paper first discusses the general concepts of logistics and supply chain, and points out the connection and difference between them, so as to understand the connotation and extension of logistics module in ERP more clearly. Then it discusses the position and function of logistics module in ERP, especially how to interact with other modules in the system from the perspective of process. Finally, the implementation case of Haier Group's ERP logistics management system is analyzed in detail. /

Introduction E RP (enterprise resource planning) is a comprehensive embodiment of enterprise comprehensive resource planning management using advanced management ideas and information technology. It is developed from MRP II (Manufacturing Resource Planning) and inherits many advantages of MRP II, such as organically combining various subsystems of an enterprise to form an all-round production management optimization system. The subsystems interact with each other through the data platform shared by * * * * to realize the management integration of logistics, capital flow and information flow. In addition, ERP also extends management from the inside of the enterprise to the outside, fully integrates customer demand, enterprise production and supplier resources, forms a supply chain, and manages all links of the supply chain. It is no longer limited to several single production methods and management standards, and can meet the diversified management of enterprises.

With the further development of enterprise informatization, people's understanding of ERP has gradually deepened. As one of the means to realize enterprise differentiation and effectively improve operational efficiency and competitiveness, ERP is not only a simple MIS system or even software, but also embodies a series of advanced management ideas, such as comprehensive management of the whole supply chain resources, lean production and agile manufacturing, and the combination of pre-planning and process control.

ERP originated from manufacturing industry, so the production module is at the core of the system. However, with the expansion of its application field and the change of the actual needs of enterprises, the content of ERP is also changing with each passing day. Nowadays, logistics, supply chain management, human resource management, customer relationship management, knowledge management and other modules have also joined the ERP army, enriching related research fields.

Among them, logistics management, as the "third profit source", is a circular digestive system of enterprise production and operation, which directly affects the running speed and quality of enterprises and supply chains. Improving logistics operation through ERP can not only accelerate the flow of physical materials and commodities in the supply chain, but also accelerate the flow of information and capital. Therefore, how to realize the function of logistics management module in ERP is an urgent problem faced by many enterprises when implementing and using ERP.

So, from what angles can we understand the logistics module in ERP? What does it have to do with the production, procurement, sales and inventory of enterprises? What sub-modules should it include? What functions are completed respectively? How to determine its minimum set in ERP? In order to answer this series of questions, we first need to clarify some concepts, the most important of which is the connection and difference between logistics and supply chain. I.
