I am currently working as an intern in the Environmental Protection Bureau. Here are some of my internship logs: (1) Yesterday's internship content: 1. We went to the complaint point of pig farm odor pollution near a residential area in the city center and found it stinks, only 30 meters away from residents. According to the field investigation, there are four households in a pigsty, with 1-5 pigs respectively. After our legal publicity and education, farmers said that they would cancel the pigsty after the end of the year and no longer raise it. 2. I wrote down the workflow of the mediation committee: 1. The mediation committee will review the applications of both parties to the dispute and make a decision on whether to accept them. 1. Mediation shall be conducted within three days, reconciliation shall be conducted within one month, and registration and reasons shall be given. 3. Before mediating a dispute, the parties shall be informed of the nature, principles and effectiveness of mediation, as well as the rights and obligations enjoyed by the parties. 4. Listen to the statements of the parties on the facts and reasons of the dispute, and make records. Fair mediation. 5. If the mediation is successful, an agreement shall be made, which has the effect of a civil contract. 6. If both parties to the dispute think it necessary, they may apply to the Municipal People's Court for judicial confirmation within 30 days from the effective date of the agreement.

(2) Today's internship content: We went to a cement brick production site to investigate the complaints reflected by its residents about the impact of noise pollution on normal life. When we arrived at the destination, we carefully asked the person in charge, the construction time and whether to start construction according to the regulations. Do a good job in relevant on-site supervision documents and make a decision on rectification within a time limit, requiring cement brick production enterprises to start production in accordance with relevant regulations, and shall not cause noise pollution again, otherwise administrative punishment will be given.
