1, cover design:
Many colleges and universities have their own graduation thesis templates. Even if you don't, you can refer to the excellent papers of the previous students and design them yourself. But when designing, don't be too fancy, you can have a school emblem, and it is best not to include content and decoration unrelated to the paper.
2, cover material and color:
It is best to choose hard paper for the cover, and there are usually some dark lines. If you like something simpler, coated paper is also good. As for the color, it is best to have a relatively light cool color system, such as light blue, light green, light gray and light yellow, and don't feel heavy like red and black.
3. Paper thickness:
Paper binding should not be too thick, basically about 0.8cm is the best. If it's really a long story, you can print it on both sides if you write 200 or 300 pages. Because the convenience of the professor should be considered when grading, and everyone's tolerance should be considered when giving away.
