1 The role of early reading in children's development
1. 1 Promote children's language development. Children's language ability is not only oral language, but also the ability to listen, express and appreciate literary works. In early reading activities, children should not only listen, but also appreciate, understand and express on the basis of listening.

This requires us to tell the contents of the book in the form of stories first, so that children can have a general understanding of the contents and roles in the book, and then organize children to read. Through this method, I found that children are eager to read the books that teachers have talked about, and tell themselves while reading. This shows that children can only be interested if they understand it.
2.4 Close integration with daily life. Children's language learning is developed in the process of application. The early reading advocated by the whole language theory is not limited to written reading, but also includes nonverbal listening, speaking and reading. Compared with specialized language teaching activities, activities in daily life are more relaxed, providing more space for children to communicate freely. In practice, we combine the cultivation of children's pre-reading ability with their age characteristics.
Children in small classes have poor self-service ability. We put up pictures of our brothers and sisters undressing in the dormitory, coupled with catchy children's songs, so that children can gradually learn to wear undressed pants in peer demonstration and picture reading. Sticking various small marks or animal cards on towel racks, teacup racks, bedside tables and chairs, so that children can find their own special daily necessities according to the marks, which not only cultivates children's good living hygiene habits, but also stimulates children's reading interest. At the end of the small class, with the improvement of children's cognitive level, we changed the small animal cards into creative cards and graphic cards with different numbers, colors and arrangements to improve children's sensitivity to image symbols.
The children in the middle and large classes have gradually enhanced their ability to live, communicate with peers and serve the collective. They like to get together to explore secrets, love communication and are curious. At this time, there are their reading objects everywhere in their lives, such as the stems of loofah are spinning, the loose top of the nest is the exit, and the upper lip moves faster when rabbits eat radish, and so on. Children's observation is more detailed and their language expression is more complete and rich. We give children more space to explore, and at the same time, we lose no time to create a record angle.
The natural big society is also a classroom for children to learn. We make full use of the opportunities of walking and outing after meals to lead children to find and find readable information. Signs, road signs, house numbers and advertising pictures of shops are all captured by children. Practice has proved that children are interested in this and their reading ability is gradually enhanced.
3 Conclusion
As an important part of children's connection, the cultivation of children's reading ability has its own laws and characteristics. We must proceed from the actual situation in the initial education stage and pay attention to gradual progress.
