First, the topic of graduation thesis
Our department collected 7 1 questions from 19 teachers in the form of handwritten version and e-mail from 23 to 26 October in XX. More than 80% teachers in the department participated in the problem (because XX teachers were newly introduced in the department); The topic covers a wide range, pays attention to the real people's livelihood, combines theory with practice, and aims to explain practical problems or put forward policy suggestions for practical problems.
Second, topic selection and tutor selection.
Based on the principle of "paying extensive attention to interests", students can choose topics from the collected 765,438+0 papers, or make their own topics according to their own interests, and finally finalize them through consultation with their tutors, so as to achieve the purpose of combining students' interests with their tutors' professional knowledge.
The tutor arrangement of this graduation thesis is mainly based on the tutor arrangement under the tutorial system during the undergraduate period of the Department of Economics. In principle, the tutor during the undergraduate period is the instructor of graduation thesis. In some cases, it can be adjusted on a small scale on the premise of students' voluntary, so as to realize the balance between the instructor and the students. At the end of 10, XX completed the task of selecting tutors for students. The end result is that each tutor takes one or two students.
Three, the establishment of public mailbox, and the establishment of graduate contact network.
After selecting topics and tutors, organize graduates to establish multi-channel contact networks in time. This related matter has made an overall arrangement for the whole process of graduation thesis, including the requirements and relevant regulations of the department for graduation thesis.
V. A paper tracking table (attached table 1) has been made.
According to the experience and lessons of grasping the progress of the thesis in previous years, this year, we changed the practice of previous years and made the Tracking Table of XX Undergraduate Graduation Thesis of Economics Department (see annex 1). The tracking form is headed by the student's name, one for each student and signed by the instructor; The evaluation of students' progress is mainly completed by the instructor; The tracking table is managed and saved by the department.
The tracking table mainly includes three parts: time, students' situation and tasks to be completed at this stage. According to the time schedule of the department, design different tasks in different time periods, with two weeks as an evaluation cycle; For the unity and conciseness of teachers' evaluation, the "tasks that should be completed at this stage" are combined in the column of "students' situation". What the instructor needs to do is to mark whether this task has been completed with a check or a wrong number.
Moreover, in the form design, considering that it is very beneficial for students to "see the tutor" for the guidance of the thesis, the option of "have you seen the tutor" is specially designed at each stage, stipulating that "students who have seen the tutor less than three times are not qualified to select excellent papers".
Follow-up treatment of evaluation results: according to the progress information obtained from teachers every two weeks, urge and remind students to complete the current task quickly.
The tracking table reflects the progress of graduation thesis in time, provides timely information for the next work arrangement, and the evaluation results are directly linked to the final graduation thesis scores of students, which improves the work efficiency and effectiveness.
