The Nursing College of Hunan Vocational College of Environmental Biology was formally established on June 1 2008. It was developed on the basis of the original medical discipline of Hengyang Health School. It has more than 60 years of experience in education and teaching, and has trained a strong team of teachers. At present, there are full-time and part-time professional teachers 102, including 35 teachers with master's degree or above and 50 teachers with technical titles or above in subtropical high school. At present, there are more than 7,400 students in the School of Nursing.
The college enrolls students nationwide and now offers three majors: nursing, midwifery and medical laboratory technology. Our college was founded in 1975, formerly known as Hengyang Branch of Hunan Agricultural College. 1987 was changed to Hunan forestry college with the approval of the provincial people's government, 1999 actively adapted to the needs of the development of higher vocational education. Approved by the Ministry of Education, it was changed from ordinary colleges to higher vocational colleges. In March, 20001year, with the approval of the provincial people's government, the Ministry of Education put on record and changed its name to its present name. In April 2004, with the approval of the Hunan Provincial People's Government, the former Hengyang Health School was merged into the Provincial Forestry Department. As early as the early 1980s, the Skills Training Institute was entrusted by Hengyang Administrative Office at that time to start the technical training for teachers and cadres of agriculture and forestry, which has continued to this day. 5.
