Because of using HowNet to download papers on HowNet, HowNet website requires that you must register and log in before downloading files. Although Folx is very powerful, from the perspective of security and other aspects, it is still impossible to skip the step of logging in to the website to download files.

However, Folx provides users with the function of saving login Cookie information, which can help you save the login information of users on Folx software, so that users do not need to re-enter their account password every time they download files, which provides certain convenience.

So how do you save the login information of HowNet? First open the Folx menu and click "Password Management", as shown below: 1.

Step 2: Click Add, and then click Add on the right side of browser authentication to add a website login information, as shown in Figure 2 below.

Step 3: Enter HowNet official website in the input box at the top of the opened interface, and then click Login on the page to enter the login page. The specific page is shown in Figure 3 below.

Step 4: On the page, enter the account number and password, or choose QQ to log in. After logging in successfully, the webpage will automatically jump, and relevant account information will appear on the page, as shown in the red box in Figure 4 below. After the login is confirmed to be successful, click the "Save Cookie" button in the lower right corner to save the login Cookie information.
