Chen Xiaoming's scientific research achievements
Mainly engaged in molecular design, synthesis, structure and properties of supramolecular systems of functional metal complexes and polymer metal complexes. At present, there are three main research results:

Since (1) 1992, the research on "small molecule simulation of the structure of metalloenzyme active center" has been carried out, and remarkable progress has been made. A variety of new model complexes with active center structure of metalloenzymes have been synthesized, and their structures and catalytic properties have been deeply studied.

(2) Since1994, the research on clusters and polymers with photoelectric properties has been carried out, and a unique method for synthesizing heteropolynuclear complexes containing metals such as copper has been created, and new heteropolynuclear metal complexes have been designed and assembled, which has made a new breakthrough in the molecular design and synthesis of complex heteropolynuclear metal complexes. A series of novel preparation methods of Cu-RE heteronuclear complexes, such as Cu-RE 18 nuclear clusters, were successfully established, and the magnetic and photoelectric properties of complex metal complex systems were studied, which provided a new basis for the application research of heterometal functional complexes in molecular photoelectric devices.

(3) A large number of polymer metal complexes with different skeleton structures were successfully assembled by using bridging ligands and metal ions as modules, and a series of novel organic-metal polymers with luminescent functions were obtained through supramolecular interaction, which put forward new research ideas and directions for the development of such new inorganic-organic hybrid materials.

Since 1993, he has presided over more than 0 national, provincial and ministerial science fund projects 10, including the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars and key projects of the National Fund. Up to now, more than 230 scientific papers have been published in academic journals at home and abroad, including more than 200 in well-known academic journals such as American Chemical Society, German Applied Chemistry and European Chemistry. Some papers have been cited by international academic journals for more than 1 160 times. According to the statistics of the Information Center of the State Science and Technology Commission, the papers published internationally by Chen Xiaoming 1996 (included by SCI) ranked fifth in the national personal ranking, and the international papers cited in 1997 ranked third in the national personal ranking. 1999 international papers were cited the third in China. Invited to give an invitation report at 13 international and 17 national academic conferences. In teaching, he has taught undergraduate and postgraduate courses such as structural chemistry, spectral chemistry, X-ray single crystal structure analysis, modern research methods of metal complexes, modern inorganic chemistry and coordination chemistry. Instruct the research work of postdoctoral, doctoral and master students, among whom 7 doctors and 6 master students have graduated and obtained corresponding degrees. The dissertation of a doctoral student he supervised was awarded as "National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation" (200 1).
