It is reported that Tubo Zambezi Sambuza, minister of Zambezi Gambu Sect, and other 16 people went to Tianzhu (India) to study and learn from their teachers. After returning to Tibet, I imitated Sanskrit Lanza style and combined with Tibetan phonology to create Tibetan block letters, and also created Tibetan cursive script according to Urdu style. But this traditional view has been questioned by many scholars. In their view, it was not the Tubo Sambuza, who was often praised, who created Tibetan, but the ancient scripts that may have existed before Tubo (Songzan Gambu era) to record the original religious classics. Even some scholars tend to think that "Tibetan is created according to Xiang Xiong".
Tibetan letters can be translated into Sanskrit letters one by one. Those who believe that Tibetan is transformed from Sanskrit believe that this transformation relationship is the reason why it can be transcribed one by one; However, those who believe that Tibetan originated from Xiangxiong believe that this ability is customized by Tibetans in order to read Buddhist scriptures without loss. However, even if Tibetan letters can be translated into Sanskrit letters, Tibetan and Sanskrit are still two completely different languages. Although Tibetan can reproduce Sanskrit without loss, there is still no way to understand its meaning, only by translation. Besides, among the Sino-Tibetan languages and the languages of all ethnic groups in China, Tibetan is second only to Chinese in terms of historical length and literature richness.
