I. Introduction to the theme
History discipline has the right to award master's degrees in first-class disciplines. This discipline covers ancient history of China, modern history of China, world history, specialized history, historical theory and historiography, archaeology and museology, historical philology, historical geography and so on. Among them, the specialized history and the ancient history of China have the right to award doctoral degrees, and the specialized history discipline is the key discipline in the 11th Five-Year Plan. At present, the postgraduate training direction is: China's ideological and cultural history, China's ancient history, China's modern history, China's historical philology, archaeology and museum science, historical theory and historiography. There are 18 professors and 4 associate professors in this discipline, and more than 10 famous scholars at home and abroad are invited as visiting professors and part-time professors to teach regularly.
