Yanbian Anti-Japanese Armed Struggle is the beginning of Northeast Anti-Japanese Guerrilla War. Under the banner of resisting Japanese imperialist aggression and striving for national liberation, anti-Japanese bonfires burned all over Yanbian. The Second Northeast Anti-Union Army, composed of the outstanding sons and daughters of Yanbian people, was brave and good at fighting, which made the Japanese invaders frightened and became an important force in the Northeast anti-Japanese armed forces. In the hard years of the anti-Japanese struggle, countless anti-Japanese soldiers died heroically, and their blood was red. The heroic deeds of martyrs were sung everywhere in Yanbian.
Yang Jingyu, the famous Anti-Union star, the chief of staff of the 75th Division of the Chinese Workers and Peasants Red Army, Wei, the political commissar and deputy commander-in-chief of the Northeast Anti-Union First Army, Wang Detai, the commander of the Second Army of the Anti-Union First Army, Dong, the secretary of the Dongman Special Committee of China, and the commander-in-chief of the Third Army of the Anti-Union First Army, all left their fighting footprints in Yanbian. Yanbian has nearly 1000 revolutionary sites, 523 martyrs monuments and more than 65,438 revolutionary martyrs. As long as governments at all levels attach great importance to and develop red tourism, it will become an important tourism resource in Yanbian.
1August, 939, the anti-Japanese allied forces fought fiercely with the Japanese army here for two days, killing more than 350 people, which was the largest battle in Yanbian. To develop this tourist attraction, we can launch a series of activities of "Being an Anti-Union Warrior for a Day" to attract tourists by simulating gun battles and experiencing the life of anti-Union fighters. It not only satisfies tourists' curiosity, but also evokes tourists' national dignity and patriotic enthusiasm. Among the war sites on both sides of the road leading to Changbai Mountain in various counties and cities, there are Han Qingling in Dunhua, Dapu Chaihe War Site, and the "Thirteen Warriors in Yu Lang Village" in Helong.
