Zhang Yaqin, 1966 was born in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province, and was admitted to the juvenile class of the University of Science and Technology of China at the age of 12. At the age of 23, he received a doctorate in electrical engineering from George Washington University. He used to be a senior manager at Harvard University, studying business.

He is a world-class expert in digital image and video technology, multimedia communication and Internet.

1997, Zhang Yaqin, who was only 3 1 year old, was awarded the title of FellowofIEEE American Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, becoming the youngest scientist in the history of 100. He holds 60 American patents, many of which have become international standards of ISO and ITU.
