Chapter III Military and Political Training: Provisions on the Education and Management of National Defense Students
Article 14 National defense students shall receive military training organized by the army and institutions of higher learning. The military political training plan shall be formulated by the military training, cadres, propaganda and other departments of the military command unit in conjunction with colleges and universities.

Fifteenth national defense students' military and political training includes military and political theory courses, daily training and intensive training during holidays. Military and political training is included in the teaching content of colleges and universities, and credits are calculated as compulsory courses or compulsory courses for national defense students. The military and political training results of national defense students are recorded in the student achievement files, and they should meet the prescribed standards and requirements when they graduate.

Article 16 The teaching of military political theory courses shall be carried out in accordance with the military political training plan, and shall be organized and implemented by colleges and universities and training offices in schools. Military colleges and training institutions may be invited to assist if conditions permit.

Seventeenth daily training is mainly based on military basic knowledge learning and physical training, generally arranged in morning exercises, spare time or physical education class, organized and implemented by the school-based training office, with the assistance of colleges and universities.

Eighteenth holiday intensive training is generally arranged at the end of the first, second and third school years, mainly military training and military probation, and the total training time is not less than 60 training days. The military training and cadre departments of military command-level units determine troops, military academies or training institutions as training bases to undertake centralized training tasks.

Article 19 To organize national defense students to carry out military and political training, simulated companies, platoons and classes shall be established, and the backbone shall be rotated regularly.

Twentieth military training funds, equipment, medical services, ammunition, equipment and other security, by the relevant departments of military units in accordance with the provisions and standards responsible for the implementation. If a national defense student is injured or killed in military training, it shall be handled with reference to the relevant provisions of the Regulations on Pension and Preferential Treatment for Soldiers.
