Pattern Characteristics of Clothing in China in Past Dynasties

Yuan Dynasty: Silk in Yuan Dynasty is characterized by a large number of silk fabrics. Yarn, yarn, twist and grain are all added with gold. Woven with gold thread, it has a gorgeous effect. Yuan people called this glittering brocade "lost stone". Compared with other fabrics, silk reeling wins by color and lines, and its patterns are usually vivid and rich. 1. Flower pattern

The common moire in Yuan Dynasty belongs to Ganoderma lucidum cloud. Ganoderma lucidum cloud, as its name implies, is shaped like ganoderma lucidum, layered on top of each other. It seems as if the poem said, "Clouds keep standing and fly to Yao Wan finches in a trance".

4. Other modes

If we analyze the patterns of silk reeling in Yuan Dynasty from another angle, or combine the patterns of flowers and animals, we can get a brand-new pattern, which is named "Spring Water" for the time being. Take the lotus boots with purple soup unearthed from Mingshui Tomb as an example. The whole fabric has reached the level of not weaving water when it meets water. From the falling flowers and branches, you can feel the state of water ripples and falling flowers. Perhaps this kind of "spring water" map is the prototype of "full pond charm" which is commonly used later to focus on the small scene of the pond.

9. Ming Dynasty: On the basis of traditional patterns, the patterns in this period were concise and sublimated, reaching a high degree of stylization and having a strong decorative beauty. The main features of fabric patterns are as follows:

1. Absorbs foreign styles, with lively and diverse styles, numerous themes and an unprecedented range of applications. 2. The wide application of auspicious themes. 3. The ideal combination of borrowing and combining various patterns is widely used, generous and rich in decorative beauty. 4. Representative mode. Auspicious patterns, animal patterns, Hua Niaowen, religious patterns, people patterns and Bo Gu patterns.

Representative patterns: popular patterns of the times: moire, tangled flowers: mainly inheriting dragon patterns, phoenix patterns, fish patterns, ball flowers, jasmine heads, Bo Gu patterns and other patterns; Natural weather patterns: moire, water ripple and thunder ripple; Patterns of utensils: lantern pattern, cattail pattern, eight treasures pattern, seven treasures pattern and eight auspicious patterns.
