Step 1: Use the mouse to select the last line next to the diagram (or table or formula) in the paper. In the word format drop-down menu, there is an option for paragraphs. After clicking the window, there is a space in the middle. In the space option, select 0 before the paragraph.

Step 2: Use the mouse to select the first line of the next paragraph after "graph" (or "table" or "formula") in the paper, and repeat the above step "spacing".
