The author also intends to vent his dissatisfaction with the corrupt regime in society at that time. The last 50 chapters describe the process of Liangshan hero accepting the court's appeal and serving the country. They conquered the Liao kingdom in the north, wiped out Hutian and Wang Qing, and all the leaders were unscathed. The battle of South Expedition to Fang La made Liangshan heroes lose their troops and hurt the survivors, but they didn't get a reasonable and deserved return. Instead, he was persecuted by traitors.
