Suspense is the joint point of the structure, traceability is the skeleton line of the structure, and the points and lines intersect to form the surface of the structure. First, the "point" of flash.

The so-called "suspense" refers to people's feelings about the fate of characters and the development and changes of plots in literary and artistic works. Being good at creating correct suspense and keeping the audience in a state of expectation from beginning to end is a basic skill that playwrights should master. Therefore, suspense can be regarded as the basis of drama structure. Sophocles showed his unusual talent in this respect. Shortly after the opening ceremony, the author used the argument between the Prophet Tiresias and Oedipus to leave a general suspense for the audience: How did Oedipus become the murderer who killed his father and married his mother? When the prophet predicted that the murderer was Oedipus himself, suspense was formed. The play first tells the audience the answer, but it won't make the audience lose any interest. Instead, let the audience satisfy their guesses and expectations in the process of "how to become a murderer" and further wait and see how Oedipus punishes himself. This suspense has considerable attraction. But to keep this suspense, we must constantly strengthen it. Sophocles does not carry out a single suspense to the end, but is interlocking, that is, one suspense contains another suspense, and the other suspense contains a third suspense. The performance of this in the script is that almost every scene sets a suspense for the reader, that is, leaving a question in the audience's mind. Answering this question below seems to uncover the problem in the reader's mind, but in fact it raises another question and sets another suspense, which can only be discovered by the audience and readers in the following plot. In this way, one ring is buckled until the latter ring uncovers all suspense. Its suspense mode is also quite unique, it is not simply "what happened", "what consequences did this matter cause?" Or "someone was killed", "who killed that person?" But it contains "mutation" and "discovery" that can cause a huge storm. When disaster comes, people don't care about the result of "mutation", but follow the hero's "discovery" to find the cause of the matter, hoping to find out the truth of the matter. Unexpectedly, they encountered another "mutation" in the "discovery".
