Scorsese and his co-author eric roth jointly created a spreading existentialist horror epic about the birth of the American century, with a serial murder similar to genocide as the main line, which mapped the gradual disappearance of Native Americans on the American continent.
The film puts a marriage full of lies and love poison at the front stage of the drama, responding to the themes of gang violence, loyalty that was eventually betrayed and hypocrisy of the authorities in Scorsese's early works. However, in the end, this film tells the same theme as all western films and historical stories: the brutal struggle for land, resources and power.

This film is grand and important in scale, purpose and emotion. This is a western thriller, which combines the style and highlights of Scorsese crime movies that people can imagine. For a talented opera director like Scorsese, this is a difficult balance. His ability to tell any story conflicts with his final admission that it may not be his story.
Therefore, for better or worse, Scorsese turned Killers of the Flower Moon into a story that he can tell better than anyone else: a story about greed, corruption and the mottled soul of a country born out of the belief that it belongs to any heartless person.
