There is a shortage of talents in the senior female secretary market.

Speaking of senior secretaries, they may no longer be young and have no beautiful appearance, but they have become the "right-hand man" of enterprise bosses. With the continuous development of enterprises in China, the demand for senior secretaries is increasing, but the current supply of senior secretaries is far from meeting the needs of enterprises. Li Yiguang, assistant general manager of Beijing Foreign Enterprise Human Resources Service Co., Ltd. pointed out that the number of senior secretaries in Beijing is extremely scarce at present, and the talent gap exceeds 654.38+00,000.

The talent gap is increasing at the rate of 10% every year.

From the level, the secretary is divided into three levels: primary, intermediate and advanced. As a senior secretary at the top of the secretarial profession, there is a huge talent gap at present. Li Yiguang pointed out that the gap of senior secretaries in Beijing is above 1 10,000, and this gap is expanding at the rate of 10% every year.

In this regard, Wang Shihong, president of Beijing Higher Secretary College, pointed out that business owners are in urgent need of senior secretaries, and it is difficult for them to find senior secretaries, but the training market is very cold to senior secretaries. On the one hand, China's educational institutions do not attach importance to secretarial training, and there is no professional secretarial training system. Colleges and universities often regard secretarial major as a branch of Chinese department, and the highest is secondary college. This situation hinders the public's understanding of the secretarial profession.

On the other hand, the training institutions in the market have been unable to find an effective means of secretary training. Secretary training is easier said than done. On the surface, a secretary can type, receive clients and arrange meetings. But for a senior secretary, she is actually an all-round professional. They should not only deal with the work of ordinary secretaries, but also understand the work of enterprises, and have rich experience in enterprise management, so they can deal with related problems in enterprise management. Therefore, it is difficult to train senior secretaries, and it is also difficult for training institutions to conduct "actual combat" training for them.

Senior secretary is by no means a "youth meal" profession.

For a long time, the secretarial profession has been regarded as a "youth meal" profession, and the standard of secretaries is nothing more than quick hands and feet and beautiful appearance. Wang Shihong thinks there is some truth in this statement, but as far as occupation is concerned, secretary is not a "youthful meal" occupation.

He pointed out that when foreign-funded enterprises first entered China, it did happen that young and beautiful people could be secretaries. At that time, because the whole society didn't understand the operation mode of foreign-funded enterprises, some specific affairs of enterprises would be handled by relevant personnel, and secretaries didn't have the ability to handle related enterprise affairs, so they were often regarded as "youth meals" occupations. However, in foreign countries, secretaries in enterprises are much older. They know everything about the enterprise and have rich management experience. They look more like business butlers. At present, with the continuous development of foreign-funded enterprises in China, foreign-funded enterprises are gradually diluting the concept of "youth meal" for secretaries. Many secretaries have been able to be independent in enterprises, and secretaries in China enterprises will become a lasting profession in the future, just like secretaries abroad.

In addition, Wang Shihong also pointed out that the rejuvenation of senior secretaries in Chinese enterprises is still the mainstream at present, and the reason for this phenomenon is related to the employment standards of employers. After having experience in enterprise management, secretaries are often transferred to other posts by their bosses to engage in more professional work. In a sense, senior secretary has become a means of enterprise talent reserve and a "reservoir" and "training camp" for enterprise cadres.

Under the market economy, large and small companies are constantly emerging, and the demand for secretaries is growing. Therefore, the word secretary has appeared frequently in the talent market in recent years, and the demand has been in the forefront of the recruitment rankings for many years. With the acceleration of China's entry into WTO, more and more foreign-funded enterprises will enter our country, and the demand for secretaries will also increase.

It is not easy to be a good secretary.

Is it true that secretaries are young people with short working hours? Actually, it is not! To do a good job as a secretary, you must have the following qualities:

1. No desire for power. As the saying goes, "A soldier who doesn't want to be a marshal is not a good soldier." This sentence does not apply to the secretarial profession.

2. Do things skilfully and keep secrets strictly. The secretary is the person closest to the leader. Some personal behaviors of leaders can't all escape the eyes of the secretary, and emotions can't help showing. If the secretary doesn't pay attention to confidentiality, it will make the work of the leader very passive.

3. Skilled in operating all kinds of office automation equipment.

4. Strong word processing skills. You should be able to understand the words and intentions of leaders and have the ability to organize them into words.

5. Positive and enthusiastic, disciplined and easy to get along with. A secretary with diplomatic skills will make the leaders make ends meet.

There are three kinds of secretaries. Junior secretary

It should include the company's front desk reception, telephone operator, department affairs assistant, etc. Their duties are generally simple, their technical content is not high, their wages are relatively low, and the age of the employees is generally not more than 25 years old.

Intermediate secretary

Including department manager secretary, assistant manager and other secretaries around middle managers, and manager secretary of small and medium-sized companies. Their power and responsibility are relatively large, and their ability to deal with various events is relatively high. Their foreign language level and computer application ability are higher, and they must have good coordination ability, so their salary is naturally higher. These people are generally around the age of 25 to 35.

Senior Secretary

Including the secretary of the head of a multinational company, the secretary of the board of directors and the secretary of the regional president. This is an important position among senior leaders. Their leadership, coordination and management skills will take several years or even longer. Many people hold foreign passports and are older. This is the pinnacle of the secretarial position. Only in this way can we truly understand the full connotation of secretarial work. Generally speaking, the senior secretaries of foreign-funded enterprises are all professional women aged 35 to 45.
