Which cereals belong to miscellaneous grains?

Miscellaneous grains, also known as minor grains, are the general names of various minor grains and beans except rice, wheat, corn, soybeans and other major grains. Mainly sorghum, millet, buckwheat, oats, barley, millet, coix lachryma-jobi and other miscellaneous grains, as well as bean miscellaneous grains such as kidney beans, mung beans, adzuki beans, broad beans, peas, cowpeas, lentils and black beans. It is characterized by short growth period, small planting area, special planting area, low yield and generally rich nutrition.

Can you really lose weight by eating miscellaneous grains? Is oatmeal higher in calories than rice?

Compared with polished rice and white flour, coarse cereals generally have a denser cortex and contain more eggs, dietary fiber and resistant starch, which can reduce the digestion and absorption speed of nutrients, enhance the satiety of human body and have a good lipid-lowering effect. What is more grain and what is the difference between it and whole grain?

From the perspective of balanced and comprehensive nutrition, multi-grain is more balanced than single grain because it integrates the nutritional components of different grains, but the concept of multi-grain is different from that of whole grain.
