How to prepare a reply
How to prepare for the defense? The answer is as follows:

1. Make a good reply PPT

(1) cover: including the name of the paper, the respondent, the instructor, the time of reply, study, major, etc.

(2) Structure: Introduction (abstract), the purpose and significance of experimental design by researchers or dispatchers, the design of materials and schemes (flow chart), operation process, discussion, research results, and apology.

(3) Content: No more than 10 lines of text or a picture per page, only the main points are listed to avoid enlargement of text paragraphs.

(4) Color matching: Try to make the text clear, concise and easy to read, and the font color should be in sharp contrast with the background to avoid too many colors and too fancy and complicated color matching.

(5) Charts: You can use some charts to illustrate the arguments in PPT, which can not only attract the attention of the audience, but also express your views more vividly.

(6) Dynamic effects: It is not recommended to use too many fancy dynamic effects, but adding some simple dynamic effects will give extra points to defense. Such as fade out, erase, float in, etc. Especially in the statement of structural context and design process, it is helpful to clarify the logical relationship with appropriate timeline dynamics.

Step 2 be familiar with newspapers

(1) To participate in thesis defense, you must first have a profound, comprehensive and accurate understanding of your own thesis;

(2) It is best to sort out the basic professional concepts and principles involved in your paper before replying;

(3) To grasp the content of the paper horizontally, that is, to understand the concepts extending from the theme of the paper;

(4) Combining the arguments of written papers, collect some good cases and other materials to illustrate the problem before the defense;

(5) It is best to know more about the recent news, current affairs and academic hotspots related to the thesis.

3. Think about the word "line"

Before you reply, you should plan ahead what your thesis statement will say. Generally speaking, these aspects should be covered:

(1) Why did you choose this topic?

(2) What is the purpose of writing and what problems to solve;

(3) What is the basic framework, structure and writing logic of the full text;

(4) What was discovered through research;

(5) What are the innovations in topic selection, viewpoints and methods?

(6) What are the shortcomings of the paper (but be careful not to mention the shortcomings of the paper).
