According to the new findings released by Singapore Institute of Science and Technology, sodium chloride can significantly increase the capacity of hard disk. Specifically, the existing traditional hard disk uses randomly allocated disk storage technology, and the data density per square inch can only reach 0.5TB. Thanks to the help of sodium chloride and the new high-resolution lithography factor technology, the data density will be more orderly, reaching 3.3TB per square inch, which can be realized by the existing manufacturing technology without complicated equipment upgrade. This means that the current 1TB hard disk adopts this technology, and the capacity of 6TB can be achieved without adding more disks.
