The mysterious flying art of Xie Chengshui in Dunhuang
This paper describes the historical evolution and modeling changes of flying in Dunhuang, among which the flying statue in India was first involved. Later, it went through Western Wei Dynasty, Northern Zhou Dynasty, Sui Dynasty, Tang Dynasty, Five Dynasties Song Dynasty, Xixia Yuan Dynasty and other dynasties, covering the whole development history of Dunhuang.

Xie Chengshui, pen name-Xingshan, Han nationality, 1950, from Changting County, Fujian Province. 1976, graduated from Fujian Normal University, majoring in oil painting. 1982 went to the Oil Painting Department of China Academy of Fine Arts for further study.
