Sun Hua is currently a professor, doctoral supervisor and dean of Peking University Institute of Archaeology and Culture. 1976 After graduating from high school, he went to the countryside to receive "re-education" in Tianyuan Commune, Deyang County, Sichuan Province. 198 1 studied in the Chinese Department of Mianyang Normal University. After graduation, he was assigned to Mianyang Cultural Center in Sichuan Province to take charge of cultural relics work, and was admitted to Peking University Graduate School on 1984 to study for a master's degree under the guidance of Zou Heng, a teacher from the Department of Archaeology.

My main research direction is bronze age archaeology in China. In addition, I am also engaged in the research on the pre-Qin history of China, the art history of China and the protection of cultural heritage. He has participated in major research projects such as "Multi-volume Archaeology of China" undertaken by the Archaeological Department of Peking University and "General History of China Art" undertaken by the Art Research Institute of the Ministry of Culture, and presided over the bronze culture research of Sichuan Basin in National Cultural Heritage Administration and the ancient tombs in China by the Ministry of Education. He is currently engaged in Bronze Culture in East Yunnan and West Guizhou (a major project of the Humanities and Social Sciences Base of the Ministry of Education) and Archaeological Research Series of Three Gorges Cultural Relics (the 11th Five-Year Plan of the country). His main works include Bronze Age in Sichuan Basin, Preliminary Understanding and Interpretation of the Mysterious Kingdom-Sanxingdui Civilization, China Ancient Cultural Relics (I) (co-author) and General History of China Art (co-author). In addition, he published nearly 100 papers. In May 2009, he gave a lecture at Sanxingdui in CCTV lecture room.
