Tutor clothes are generally worn by leaders of degree-awarding units such as principals or graduate tutors.
By the18th century, hooded middle schools had added the uniform of tutors to be worn by the principals and degree tutors of degree-granting units when attending thesis defense meetings, degree-conferring ceremonies and various celebrations. The instructor's clothing also consists of four parts: a square black degree cap, a yellow tassel on the cap, a black lapel gown with a red background, and a hanging cloth.
