1. First open China HowNet, find the document you need to refer to, then click on the reference symbol in the document column (circled in red in Figure 1), then select the reference format you need from the pop-up reference format and copy it.
2. After copying is completed, open the paper text, paste the reference format just copied into the reference, and then press enter to automatically form the number.
3. Enter the corresponding number in the text of the reference to be cited, such as "[1]", select "[1]", and then click "Cross Reference" under "Citation".
4. In the pop-up box page, select the reference type as numbered item and the reference content as paragraph number, then select the corresponding file number in "Which numbered item is referenced" below, and click OK to reference successfully.
