1. Classification: We can smash the recycled waste battery, strip the zinc shell and the iron at the bottom of the battery, take out the copper cap and graphite rod, and the remaining black substance is the mixture of manganese dioxide and ammonium chloride as the battery core. Some useful substances can be obtained by collecting and processing the above substances respectively. The ink stick can be reused as an electrode after cleaning and drying.

2. Preparation of zinc particles: clean the peeled zinc shell, put it into a cast iron pot, heat it for 2 hours, remove a layer of scum on it, pour it out for cooling, and then drop it on the iron plate until it solidifies to obtain zinc particles.

3. Recovery of copper sheet: We can flatten the copper cap and clean it with hot water, then add a certain amount of 10% sulfuric acid to boil for 30 minutes, remove the oxide layer on the surface, take it out for cleaning, and dry it to get the copper sheet.

4. Recovering ammonium chloride: We put the black substance into the tank, then add warm water at 60℃ and stir for one hour, so that all ammonium chloride is dissolved in the water, then stand, filter and wash the filter residue twice, and collect the mother liquor.

5. Recovering manganese dioxide: We wash the filtered filter residue with water for three times, filter it, put the filter cake into a pot to evaporate a little organic matter such as carbon, then put it into water to fully stir for 30 minutes, filter it, and then dry the filter cake at100-100oc to get manganese dioxide.
