Huansha Ji is a Kunqu opera adapted from China's legendary work Wu Yue Chun Qiu. Formerly known as "Wu Yue Chun Qiu", ***45, written by Liang Chenyu. Through the story of wuyue's hegemony in the Spring and Autumn Period of China, it expressed profound thoughts on the historical law of the rise and fall of feudal countries. Legend has it that Fu Cha, the king of Wu, led an army to defeat the State of Yue and took Gou Jian, the king of Yue, and Fan Li, the minister of Yue, to the State of Wu as hostages. After being defeated and captured, Gou Jian, the King of Yue, endured humiliation and made great efforts. He followed his advice and decided to dedicate his beautiful lover stone to the king of Wu, with the intention of killing his will with women's love, alienating the princes and ministers of Wu and gaining the trust of the king of Wu with a completely obedient attitude. The prince of Wu was really fascinated by his beauty, abandoned national politics and killed Zhongliang. Three years later, Gou Jian was put back to Yue. After hard work, the monarch and ministers of the State of Yue finally succeeded in defeating the State of Wu, and Fu Cha committed suicide. Retired after success, determined to stay away from political right and wrong, and went boating with my teacher to find seclusion. The story of the play is tortuous and the structure is complete. The stone image is full and the characters are distinct. It successfully used ink painting on the stage for the first time, which opened up the creative field of Kunshan dialect legends to express their feelings of rise and fall through life and death. The lyrics are beautiful and lyrical, and Kunqu music is naturally combined with the plot. Many creative music passages greatly enhance the performance effect.
