Baroque and Rococo style papers
The word "baroque" comes from the Portuguese word "barrocco", which means deformed pearl, with twisted, grotesque and irregular meaning. The starting point of Baroque's romantic design is to pursue grand, vivid and enthusiastic artistic effects, and it is very dramatic to adopt various tortuous lines (especially the S-shaped curve with strong dynamic), exaggerated scales, over-rendered gorgeous and unrestrained decoration.

The word "Rococo" comes from the rockery "Rocaille" made of shells and rocks in the French court garden. This style is characterized by rocks and mussels. It is a gorgeous, exquisite and complicated artistic style, which combines Baroque style and China's decorative interest, and uses many S lines.

Rococo art is developed on the basis of baroque. In foreign history, both of them have romantic, lyrical, euphemistic and gorgeous dynamic curves, but they have different characteristics: Baroque has a luxurious, majestic and unrestrained man character; Rococo is a beautiful, gentle and lively femininity, which is the sublimation of baroque curve modeling.

After the Renaissance, aristocrats and wealthy businessmen thought that the pursuit of luxury and grandeur, mired in cumbersome sculptures, precious materials and bloated forms, planted seeds for the emergence of Baroque style. /kloc-in the 0/7th century, a new aristocracy appeared in Italy. Due to the competition and comparison between nobles, social status and authority are paid more attention. This luxurious decorative feature, this sense of movement with exaggerated effect, is very in line with the taste of court dignitaries. Therefore, it soon influenced Italy and European countries and became a popular trend.

At the end of 17 and the beginning of 18, the crisis of French autocracy gradually emerged. After losing the foreign war, the economy is facing bankruptcy, but the enjoyment in the court is becoming increasingly luxurious and close to erosion. The bourgeoisie took the opportunity to ask the king for power, and the situation that the king ruled the country has become history. The nobles were no longer proud of squeezing into Versailles and began to live a happy and fashionable life. As a result, Paris replaced Versailles and became the cultural center of France. Great changes in the field of art in this period are mainly reflected in interior decoration and furniture, which is called "Rococo art". After the death of Louis XIV, Louis XV succeeded to the throne at the age of five. Because Louis XV was too young to take power, Philip, Duke of Orleans, was the Regent. The Duke of Orleans is an outstanding leader of French court art, with good artistic accomplishment and appreciation ability. Thanks to his efforts, French court art gave up the baroque formality and gradually formed a free and elegant art form. Influenced by the court, nobles and emerging bourgeoisie followed suit and transformed their luxury houses into small-scale houses with simple and elegant shapes, and small and elegant salons also developed. The increasingly irregular court and the growing new rich class pursue the same elegance and luxury as the nobility, which promotes the development of fashion in the direction of elegance and comfort.
