The preprint is a research paper without peer review. Before submitting it to a formal journal, researchers can publish it on a preprint server for others to read and evaluate. Although preprints are becoming more and more popular in the scientific community, some journals can still choose not to accept preprints as contributing papers.

It should be noted that even if the journal accepts the preprint, the submitted papers still need to go through the peer review process to evaluate their scientific quality and applicability. The existence of preprint does not automatically guarantee that the paper will be accepted and published by official journals.
