With the rapid development of China's economy and industry, more and more organic waste gas is discharged in industrial production, which has caused increasingly serious air pollution to the environment, and its treatment has gradually attracted social attention. Organic waste gas is another kind of highly polluted air pollution besides sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides and particulate matter. 1, biological treatment technology of organic waste gas

Biological purification of organic waste gas is developed on the basis of mature microbial treatment of wastewater. Biological purification is essentially an oxidative decomposition process: active microorganisms attached to porous and humid media use organic components in waste gas as energy or nutrients for their life activities, and convert them into simple inorganic substances (CO2, H2O) or cellular components.

Common biological treatment processes include biological filtration, biological trickling filtration, biological washing, membrane bioreactor and rotary disc biological filtration reactor.

2, organic waste gas adsorption treatment technology

The key problem of adsorption treatment technology lies in the selection of adsorbent. The adsorbent should have dense pore structure, large internal surface area, good adsorption performance, stable chemical properties, acid and alkali resistance, water resistance, high temperature and high pressure resistance, not easy to break, and small resistance to air. Commonly used adsorbents mainly include activated carbon (granular and fibrous), activated alumina, silica gel, artificial zeolite and so on.

3. Catalytic combustion treatment technology

Catalytic combustion technology (AOGC) refers to a waste gas treatment method. At low temperature, combustible components in waste gas are completely oxidized and decomposed under the action of catalyst, so that the gas is purified.

This method is suitable for treating combustible or decomposable organic gases at high temperature. With the rapid development of industrial production, there are more and more kinds of organic waste gas. Therefore, people continue to research and develop some new technologies and processes of catalytic combustion to improve the treatment effect of organic waste gas.
