Tang Yihe (1905— 1944.03.24) is a native of Wuchang County, Hubei Province. In the mid-1920s, he graduated from Beiping Art College. He returned to Wuhan during the Great Revolution and worked in the revolutionary army for political propaganda. Later, I graduated from Wuchang Art College and stayed as a teacher. As a teenager, he loved painting and was one of the first eight students of Wuchang Art College. 1924 studied in Beijing Academy of Fine Arts, majoring in oil painting. Influenced by Mr. Wen Yiduo, who went to the United States to study fine arts and was then the president of the school, he was an active member of the anti-imperialist and anti-feudal student movement. Influenced by Wen Yiduo, the president of the school, he created the "Iron Lion Hutong Tragedy Map" to oppose the massacre of patriotic students by the Beiyang warlord government. Take part in the "Wushu Thirty Movement".

1926 returned to Wuchang to join the National Revolutionary Army and engaged in propaganda work in the Political Department of the Sixth Army.

In the early days, War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression led students to actively carry out propaganda activities, and his anti-Japanese war posters received great social effects at that time. At that time, Wuhan had become the cultural center of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, where artists from all over the world gathered. During this period, Tang Yihe painted many posters to hang on the streets of Wuhan, such as "Give me back my rivers and mountains".

Hubei Artists Association compiled Collection of Commemorative Works, and collected commemorative articles and papers about Tang Yihe's oil painting art from their students, Huang Gang, Li, Yang, Liu Guoshu, Lu. 199 1 year, Taiwan Province Artists Publishing House published Collection of Tang Yihe's Paintings, with Wu Zuoren's inscription: "Explore hard for art, forget me.
