Whenever my comrades and I sing this passionate militia song, I feel infinite emotion in my heart.
This is the first time that I gloriously joined the training team of the Emergency Militia Machine Gun Company of the Fifth Division, and it is also the first time that I experienced the high quality and fine style of the Corps militia. This intensive training in the army has changed my inertia, tempered my timidity, exercised my skills and corrected my thoughts.
How did I become an employee of the Corps and how did I grow into a glorious militia soldier? You must start from scratch.
My hometown is a remote mountain village in Tongnan District of Chongqing. I came to the 90th Regiment of the 5th Division of Xinjiang Corps in the early summer of 199 1 and was introduced by a distant cousin. It is located at the foot of Alatao Mountain, near Lake Abby, the first-class port of Alashankou, and adjacent to Kazakhstan. It is the land of animal husbandry on the Silk Road, with a vast territory, numerous nationalities and complicated customs.
When I first came, I regretted it. The snow is thick and cold in winter, and the days and nights in summer are short and dry. In early spring, the wind will blow for several days, and the wild dance of yellow sand on the vast desert beach is frightening, with large temperature difference during the day and cold weather in the morning and evening. When I came home from work in the spring sowing field, my face was covered with thick frost, and my hands and face were completely cracked after washing, and the pain was unbearable. Overwintering in advance in autumn, everyone is busy with production, harvesting and winter ploughing, which is extremely hard. Spring ploughing and autumn harvest are as busy as fighting, and at the same time they have to endure the test of bad environment; While reclaiming land, repairing canals and pressing saline-alkali land, replanting and improving fields. At that time, we lived in an adobe house in the ground, and the Gobi was hard to swallow. When you are on duty in the wild at night, eating and sleeping are all windy, and sleeping is bitten by mosquitoes, which is even more boring
Brothers and sisters from all corners of the country here, inspired by their hard work and the hard-working spirit of the older generation, I gradually adapted and decided to take root in the frontier and settle down. 1993 went back to my hometown to get married and brought my wife. Under my persuasion, I also let my wife settle down and start a family with me from scratch. In 2000, with the implementation of the group employee policy, my wife and I officially moved back to our hometown and settled in the 90 th regiment of the Fifth Division. Since then, retirement is guaranteed, social medical insurance is comprehensive, wages are guaranteed, and family benefits are enjoyed.
The party's spring breeze brings warmth. After three generations of hard work, earth-shaking changes have taken place here. The wasteland has become a cotton field, an oasis of desertification, the wheat waves are drunk, and the grapes and pearls are shining. There are many buildings in the frontier fortress new town, asphalt roads extend in all directions, the network sets up air bridges, and the vehicles on the street are dazzling. Here, we take the road of getting rich through science and technology, rush to the foundation of a well-off society, modern agricultural mechanization, integration of industry, commerce, construction and commerce, militarization of corps employees and national unity management.
While farming, I taught myself culture and the party's principles and policies, gained a deeper understanding of the Corps and a firm belief in moving closer to the party organization, and submitted an application for volunteering to join the Party. After three years' rigorous test by the Party organization, I got the opportunity to exercise in my study and life. Now I am an activist to join the party, and the distance from the party is getting closer and closer. On March 20 this year, the regiment cadres arranged for me to come to the militia emergency machine gun company of the Fifth Division for militia training. So far, I cherish this glorious and sacred mission.
On the first day, I experienced strict training and study. Let's start with the housekeeping. The monitor of the dormitory will take the lead in standardizing various matters of the housekeeping, and the whole package will be neatly folded. The square, wrinkle-free tofu block is the image of the military camp and the elegance of the soldiers. Whistle is the schedule, and all actions are obeyed. In the afternoon, the company commander instructor accompanied the leaders of the division's armed forces department to give a comprehensive report on militia training. The deputy division commander and instructor took the task list and decided to give our recruits a meaningful lesson to change their past living habits.
Due to the complicated forms at home and abroad, some lawless elements are brewing evil consequences to confuse people's minds, provoke and disrupt border stability, destroy production, society, national unity and people's lives and property safety. The country is calling us, and the Corps needs us to form a precision welding militia that can fight against all lawless elements and protect the vital interests of the people.
Everything should be started from the beginning, morning running drills, housekeeping, standing at attention, singing militia songs, marching drills for the whole team, shield and stick drills, deformation of riot squad, side climbing, gun inspection, rake exercises, etc. Step by step, interlocking, practice makes perfect, and cleverness is mistaken by cleverness. At the beginning of a few days, I was tired of backache and leg pain, and my head was falling apart, but I was confident and not afraid of hardship, and humbly accepted the movement guidance and criticism of the monitor. Many things happen. After half a month's hard study, hard training and assessment, I have achieved excellent results and laid a solid foundation for future training.
The 90th Regiment of the 5th Division of the Corps is my second hometown. It is the border customs that fascinate me, the Populus euphratica in the desert that makes me strong, the guardian who walks with me in the wind, the baptism of the soul in the snowy area, the leader who cultivates my growth, and the historical destiny entrusted to me by the party and the people. I will be civilized and be a good person in the Corps. Take morality as a soldier and be the pioneer of the Fifth Division. I will carry out production and construction, and at the same time protect the frontier. The interests of the people are above everything else. I will respect and protect the people, exercise myself, improve my skills and serve the people wholeheartedly.
