Symptom introduction and treatment of neonatal pathological jaundice
Etiology and pathogenesis analysis

The main cause of neonatal pathological jaundice is fetal dampness, and the viscera of disease 5 are liver, gallbladder, spleen and stomach. Its patients are mainly due to inherent damp-heat in spleen and stomach, cold and dampness in fetus, or long-term qi stagnation and blood stasis, which leads to liver failure, bile overflow and jaundice.

1. Damp-heat stagnation steams the toxin of damp-heat in the pregnant mother and remains in the fetus. For example, Ding Xia's "Baby Iron Mirror: Distinguishing Fetal Yellow" said: "Fetal yellow is felt by pregnant mothers and passed on to the fetus, so the baby is born with a golden face." Children feel that the mother's damp heat is toxic, depressed in the spleen and stomach, fumigated in the liver and gallbladder, and the qi is not smooth, so jaundice occurs, and its jaundice is as bright as orange peel. Jaundice can deepen rapidly in patients with excessive heat toxicity, and it is easy to change into syndrome changes.

2. Cold-dampness block If children are congenital deficiency, spleen yang is weak, dampness is endogenous, or invaded by dampness, dampness turns from cold to prosperity, which can cause cold-dampness block. For example, Ye Gui's "Guide to Clinical Jaundice Cases" said: "The yin and yellow work, wet from cold water, spleen Yang Can did not turn into heat, bile was blocked by wet, stained in the spleen, soaked in muscle, overflowing the skin, and the color was like smoked yellow." Cold-dampness resistance, spleen does not turn into dampness, overflows the skin, and jaundice is dark.

3. Qi stagnation and blood stasis If the child's congenital endowment is abnormal, the meridians are impassable, or the dampness and heat accumulate over time, and the liver meridian is qi stagnation and blood stasis, it will lead to qi stagnation and blood stasis and yellowing. For example, Zhang Lu's "Zhang Yitong Jaundice" said: "Although yellow is damp and hot, the meridians are chronically ill, and there is no lack of blood stasis." This is caused by qi stagnation and blood stasis in collaterals and poor drainage of liver and gallbladder, so it is yellow and dark, accompanied by abdominal distension and swelling under the right hypochondrium.

Severe fetal jaundice can produce syndrome changes. If damp heat turns into fire, and pathogenic factors sink into Jue Yin, there is a danger of fainting and wind shock, which is the evidence of fetal yellow wind; If the masculine gender is invincible, qi deficiency and Yang Can will lead to the sudden loss of yang, which will become the syndrome of fetal yellow collapse.
