Mainly engaged in teaching and scientific research in the fields of antibacterial peptide structure and function, microbial bactericide, genetic engineering and so on. Presided over or participated in the completion of six provincial and ministerial projects, including key scientific and technological projects in Henan Province, natural science research projects in Henan Province, and teaching reform research projects in higher education in Henan Province. He has published more than 30 academic papers, participated in the compilation of three university textbooks and academic works, such as Course of Medicinal Chemistry and Basis and Application of Pest Biological Control Technology, and won the national authorized invention patent 1 item, the second prize of scientific and technological progress in Henan Province 1 item, and the second prize of scientific and technological achievements in Henan Provincial Education Department 1 item. At present, he is in charge of the National Natural Science Foundation project "Study on the Antifungal Mechanism of Animal Endogenous Peptide CGA-N46", the Henan scientific and technological key project "Study on the Key Technology of High-efficient Expression of Antifungal Peptide CGA-N46" and the Zhengzhou scientific and technological key project "Study on the Key Technology of Creating an Environmental Protection Bio-pesticide against Rice Blast".
