As a principal, I have conducted in-depth research on this, determined that "only by systematically and integrally constructing the school's labor education curriculum can we realize the comprehensive educational functions of moral education, intellectual enhancement, health improvement, beauty improvement and innovation promotion through labor, and finally promote the all-round development of students", and put forward the idea of "integrating labor education into the curriculum" under the guidance of the educational goal of "self-discipline, beauty and innovation.
The new era labor education curriculum in our school aims to build an education system that adapts to the production and life of primary school students in the new era through all-round and integrated top-level design, realize the three educational goals of "self-discipline, beauty and innovation", promote the improvement of students' knowledge and skills, shape students' hard-working, honest and trustworthy, innovative labor quality, form students' six core qualities of "responsibility and responsibility, art and aesthetics, practice and development", and finally realize students' knowledge development.
The course is based on the "three-level course", guided by the concept and characteristics of running a school, with the goal of cultivating students as the starting point and the principle of promoting students' all-round development. It is rooted in students' study life and integrates science, housework, information technology, practice and creation, and finally forms a relatively stable and complete labor education curriculum system under the background of the new era. Based on the principle of gradual progress, the whole curriculum system has set up six dimensions of courses: basic courses, characteristic courses, elective courses, comprehensive courses, family courses and public welfare courses.
1. Basic courses. Basic courses are national courses, including comprehensive practice courses and science and technology courses. This is a basic course for every student. The basic course focuses on the enlightenment in the next stage of labor education. Through observation, understanding and learning, students' labor consciousness and concept are cultivated. At a higher stage, it focuses on the practical experience of labor education and the shaping of behavior habits. Through skill training and labor practice, students' labor skills are increased and the habit of loving labor is cultivated. At the same time, the hidden function of labor education in other disciplines is explored, infiltrated and integrated, and the overall educational effect is improved.
2. Special courses. That is, school-based compulsory courses, the school opened baking, financial management, paper-cutting three school-based compulsory courses. Baking class is open to all students, weekly 1 class, 1 year. In the classroom, from theory to practice, from observation to production, students can experience the process of making delicious food, enrich baking knowledge, improve their living ability, feel the joy of labor and creation, and cultivate innovative spirit and aesthetic taste through experience and practice. Offering financial management class in 1-5 grade, with 0.5 class per week, can increase students' financial management knowledge, cultivate students' financial quotient, and let students know the truth that labor creates wealth from an early age; The paper-cutting course offered in Senior Two aims to cultivate students' ability to use their hands and brains, improve their aesthetic ability and achieve the goal of replacing beauty with industry.
3. Elective courses. School-based elective course. According to children's preferences, the school has set up nine "Colorful Wednesday" selective labor courses for children to choose freely, such as knitting, round fan, paper painting, colored clay dish painting, paper cutting, pulp painting, silk screen painting, cloth painting and horse spoon gourd. Every Wednesday afternoon, children design drawings and create them by hand under the guidance of teachers, which greatly enhances students' practical ability and interest in learning, enables each student to have a skill and promotes students' personalized development.
4. Comprehensive courses. Comprehensive courses include social practice courses and holiday experience courses. Social practice courses include labor practice in briquette factory, financial management practice in second-hand market, fruit and vegetable planting in love garden, and labor practice in animal breeding base. Festival experience class is divided into traditional festival experience class and campus festival creativity class. The creative class of campus festival refers to the regular art festival, science and technology festival and snowman festival every year; The traditional festival experience course is a labor course combining traditional ethnic festivals, including making zongzi on Dragon Boat Festival, making moon cakes on Mid-Autumn Festival, making jiaozi on Spring Festival and making lanterns on Lantern Festival. Comprehensive courses provide a platform for students to experience life and go to society. Children grow up in activities, improve their labor literacy, and enhance their sense of labor and social responsibility.
5. Family lessons. Family courses include self-help courses and family experience courses. Self-help class means that students learn to dress, eat, tie the red scarf, make the bed, pack their schoolbags, wash socks and so on, so as to do their own things. The family experience class includes housework that parents can do every day, such as clearing the table and sweeping the floor, as well as "Experience My Mother's Day" and "I am a little chef" on holidays. Through home-school cooperation, students can master basic life skills, life experience and life knowledge, cultivate students' sense of self-service and family responsibility, and improve their self-care ability.
6. Public welfare courses. Public welfare courses include on-campus class duty, sharing area labor, off-campus community voluntary labor, social welfare volunteer service and so on. Through collective work in the school, we should establish the concept of "collective things should be done together", broaden students' horizons, cultivate students' sense of social responsibility and enhance students' consciousness of contributing to others and serving the society through public welfare classes outside the school.
The implementation of the "New Age Labor Education" course takes the classroom as the main position and the basic courses as the main purpose. By offering diversified and multi-level school-based courses, it creates a labor base integrating experience, service and practice, and extends labor education from in-class to out-of-class, to society and to family, and finally forms an integrated new age labor that combines in-class learning with out-of-class experience, on-campus labor with out-of-school practice, and school, society and family.
Based on the age characteristics of students, the whole curriculum system adopts step-by-step teaching. In addition to the basic courses, the school-based compulsory course "Labor and Life" focusing on the daily life of primary school students is set up in grade 1-2, striving to "do your own things, help others' things, and do collective things together", and finally achieve self-care; In grades 3-5, the school-based compulsory course of "Labor and Technology" is set up, which focuses on skill training and independent creation, and efforts are made to "do what the family is used to, do what they can't learn, and do what the group does actively", and finally realize labor autonomy.
Our school has implemented the curriculum system of labor education since 20 14, and it has gone through five spring and autumn periods. In the past five years, teachers and children have visited the briquette factory and experienced the hardships of labor; Make food together in baking class and share the joy of success; Take the "Colorful Wednesday" elective course together and feel the happiness of self-growth; Let's fly our dreams and explore the mysteries of science together at the Science and Technology Festival. They study, explore, sow, harvest and grow together in the process of labor education.

Loving and advocating labor has become the most beautiful scenery of the school. At the same time, they turned their fighting spirit into the motivation of learning, studied harder, improved their learning ability, and developed and released their imagination and innovative consciousness as never before. Students not only increase their labor knowledge and skills in the course, but also gain a sense of self-confidence and practicality, and become organized, persistent and tenacious in doing things.
2. The course of labor education is rich in content and diverse in forms, involving all aspects of life, which makes a large number of teachers who once had a skill grow up rapidly. Through school-based training and self-study, they quickly became the backbone of school-based curriculum implementation. It can be said that the labor curriculum not only enables teachers to find a sense of professional happiness, but also realizes a gorgeous transformation of their own lives. Teachers' educational concept has undergone a fundamental change, and the concept of comprehensive education has gradually taken root in people's hearts.
3. The implementation of the labor education curriculum has deepened the school's curriculum reform, enriched the school's cultural connotation, opened up new ways of school's labor education, promoted the overall work of the school, and realized the leap-forward development of the school. 20 16 Jixi four major media reported deeply on the school's characteristic baking course and the practice of "seeing the world with childlike innocence". School baking courses in 20 17 and 20 18 years were presented at the on-site meeting of cultivating education in Jixi city and the on-site meeting of curriculum reform in Hengshan district of Jixi city. 20 18 school baking course was presented at the report meeting of comprehensive practice activities of primary schools in Jixi city and made a forum speech. 1 person was rated as the backbone teacher of comprehensive practice discipline in the whole region, and 6 people won the honorary title of excellent teacher at city and district level.
4. Labor education curriculum promotes the development of the school. Our school was selected as the model school of labor education in Heilongjiang Province, and won the prize in "the first collection and selection of curriculum resources for comprehensive practical activities in primary and secondary schools and the first research and practice curriculum design competition".
The construction of labor education curriculum has a long way to go, and the curriculum system of "labor education in the new era" needs to be continuously improved.
