How to raise pigs 1, breeding environment
Pigs are suitable for growing in places where irrigation and drainage are convenient. When breeding, the pen should be built in a flat, sunny, leeward and quiet environment, and the pigsty ground should be built with an inclined plane to facilitate the outflow of liquid from the pen. A waste drain should be dug in the fence to avoid the accumulation of waste in the fence.
2. Breeding method
Piglets with well-proportioned, disease-free and injury-free bodies are selected to raise pigs, put into pigsty, and then spread straw on the ground to keep the piglets warm. In the early stage of feeding, paste feed mixed with corn flour, bran powder and warm water can be provided, and the amount of green feed will be gradually increased after piglets grow for one month.
3. Preventive measures
Pigs are sensitive to temperature during their growth. If the temperature is too low, pigs will get frostbite and catch a cold, and if the temperature is too high, it will lead to heatstroke. Therefore, the environmental temperature should be kept at about 20 degrees when breeding, and cold water can be used to cool down in summer and straw or coal stove can be used for heating in winter.
