The development of traditional medicine in China was from the second half of the 5th century BC to the middle of the 3rd century BC, and it took more than 700 years. In the second half of the 5th century BC, China began to enter the feudal society, from slavery to feudalism. The change of social system has promoted economic development, and new situations have appeared in the fields of thought, science and culture. Systematic works on theory, law, prescription and medicine became the initial medical system. Famous doctors such as Huangdi Neijing laid the theoretical foundation of TCM. The theory of typhoid fever and miscellaneous diseases-established the medical principle of syndrome differentiation and treatment; Shennong's Classic of Materia Medica laid the foundation for the development of pharmacology. For more than two thousand years, China medicine has been enriched, developed and provided on the basis of this theory, including Bian Que, Hua Tuo and other famous Chinese medicine practitioners in China, and has academic opinions and exchanges, which have enriched and improved the theoretical system of Chinese medicine and had a positive impact on the development of medicine.
In recent years, Chen Bangxian's History of Chinese Medicine (19 19) is the earliest research on the general history of Chinese medicine, followed by Wang Jimin and Lian Dewu's History of Chinese Medicine, Xie Guan's Origin of China Medicine and Fan Xingzhun's Introduction of Western Medicine in Ming Dynasty, among which Chen Bangxian's History of Chinese Medicine is the first.
