Through many years' research, the Institute of Micro-nano Medical Device Engineering of Southeast University has done a lot of research on the structural optimization design of medical vascular stents and non-vascular stents, the nonlinear finite element analysis of the stent's complete expansion process, the simulation and experiment of the expansion process, and achieved some research results. One of the published papers won the second prize of the sixth Nanjing Excellent Academic Paper Award for Natural Sciences.
