Bambusa bambusa is distributed in Xishi, Huang Lian, Chumi and Yelang 19 townships in this county, with a total area of more than 300,000 mu, accounting for more than 60% of the total area of similar bamboos in China. Starting from 2005, Tongzi plans to build a bamboo industrial base with a total area of 600,000 mu, mainly Chimonobambusa bambusa, in five years, and realize the goal of bamboo industrial output value of 2 1 100 million yuan. The total area of bamboo shoots in the county has reached 450,000 mu, which has become one of the four major industries of "bamboo shoots, vegetables, animal husbandry and flue-cured tobacco" and promoted the strong economic development of the county.
