Everyone is eager for success, but the road to success is full of thorns and it is impossible to be smooth sailing. So frustration became my friend, and I learned the challenge and tasted the different happiness after success.
It's hard to forget the math contest. I remember that it was dawn every day and it was raining outside the window. I ran to the classroom carrying a small umbrella and a heavy schoolbag. Before the bell rang, my heart pounded like a deer. When the teacher said to start answering questions, my heart was in my throat. I went through five hurdles and cut six generals, and soon finished the paper. It was not until the paper was collected that my hanging heart landed firmly.
Although I am not sure to win the first place in this math contest, I am sure to win the second and third place. When the teacher announced the results, my heart seemed to fall into the abyss, and all kinds of doubts hit my head. Is it my bad luck? Or am I too careless in answering questions? On the way home, I was very sad, but my mind was thinking about it like a thread. When I think about how this little failure overwhelmed me, I suddenly became enlightened and my heart was full of sunshine. From then on, I worked harder, listened carefully in class, reviewed well after class, checked for leaks and made up for vacancies, and my grades improved significantly.
Many things happen. I got satisfactory results in the final exam, which made all my troubles disappear and my bright smile returned to my face.
There are still many setbacks I have encountered, such as the failure of outstanding students in elections, the failure of table tennis competitions, and the sinking of compositions. But I am sad and frustrated, but I also give frustration a smile. So, I have gained a lot from smiling: the second prize in the school composition competition, the advanced family in the parent-child reading competition, the table tennis team ... Friends, although our progress will make setbacks stumble, we should be the masters of life, and don't sit in front of stumbling blocks and sigh and exhaust ourselves. Let's learn to smile and surpass ourselves with limited life! I firmly believe that setbacks make me more confident and more successful!
