How to resolve anxiety?
Actually, everyone has anxiety. As long as you see the essence clearly, you can easily resolve it.

I divide anxiety into two types. One is knowledge anxiety. I am dissatisfied with the status quo and always feel inferior to others. The other is anxiety about real threats, such as anxiety before exams.

Let's talk about how to solve these two kinds of anxiety one by one.

The first type: the solution of knowledge anxiety.

Due to the networking of information, most people are now in knowledge anxiety, because you can see super powerful people everywhere and feel that you are too backward. The pressure brought by the competition in the workplace will also make us have this kind of knowledge anxiety.

In order to alleviate this anxiety, many people around me will sign up for 5-6 online classes and join various WeChat groups to narrow the gap with others. Keep yourself busy.

This desire to grow up is right, but we should also treat it with the right attitude and method.

Teacher Xiao Lai once said that comparison is the root of all anxiety.

People who always compare with others every day tend to be dissatisfied with the status quo and have more anxiety. The best way to relieve knowledge anxiety is to shift your attention from others and focus on what is important to you.

Those who are better than you, some are older than you, some started earlier than you, and some are in that line, so you don't need to feel inferior, don't compare yourself with others, you just need to see that you are better today than you were yesterday.

Moreover, it takes time to get stronger. Don't expect to eat a fat man in one breath, one skill at a time, and the quantitative change will be qualitative change.

The second type: anxiety to solve the real threat.

There is also a kind of anxiety, which comes from threats in real life. For example, there is an important exam on the weekend, and you may feel nervous and scared these days, because you will worry about whether you are fully prepared and the result of the exam, which will cause anxiety.

If we compare our brain to a computer, anxiety is actually equivalent to a protective program installed on the computer. When it senses some potential threats, it will start the program to remind you to take preventive measures as soon as possible to avoid danger.

Therefore, proper anxiety can help us adapt to the society better, which is equivalent to a force to push us to change.

But if it is not handled properly, it will bring us some negative emotions, such as bad temper, procrastination, abnormal irritability and so on.

Solving this anxiety requires two steps:

1. Don't run away, face it at once.

Calm down, think clearly about the object of your anxiety, and don't shy away from it.

For example, if you are anxious about the speech to be made in a few days, you can write down the anxious questions with a pen and a piece of paper, and then analyze the causes of anxiety.

Haven't you finished writing the game report? The speech is not ready yet? Or is the data imperfect?

Once you write it down, you will find that a mess in your mind has become a clear problem that needs to be solved.

2. Make the next step plan

After you find the problem, you should make the next action for yourself. In the process of implementation, your anxiety will be broken.

For example, if you haven't finished writing your competition report, you should make an action plan: first, list the outline of the competition report, then search for relevant information, sort out the performance data, and then present it with PPT.

I believe that after reporting, it is a sense of relief to replace anxiety.

All tasks can be transformed into small tasks that can be completed by taking a step forward. Just do it.

Do you usually feel anxious? Tell everyone about your anxiety.
