Personal profile of Li
Dr. Li, a researcher, is a candidate for the Hundred Talents Program of China Academy of Sciences.

In 2005, he received his Ph.D. degree in biology (mycogenetics and plant pathology) from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and later worked in Northern Illinois University (2005-2006), Southwest Medical Center of the University of Texas (2006-2007) and Texas A & amp; M University (2007-2009) conducted postdoctoral research and was selected into the Hundred Talents Program of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2009. At present, he is a member of the professional committee of fungal genetics and molecular biology of the Council of China Fungal Society and a member of the editorial board of Mycosis magazine.

Dr. Li systematically studied the mechanism of antifungal substances and the molecular regulation mechanism of filamentous fungi morphogenesis, and published many papers in internationally renowned journals such as molecular cell biology, genetics and molecular microbiology. Two papers of the first author were selected in Biology Department 1000.
