The fierce global market competition puts forward higher requirements for manufacturing system, which requires manufacturing system to complete manufacturing tasks in an environment with limited certainty or no prior knowledge and unpredictability. Therefore, some highly democratic industrialized countries put forward intelligent manufacturing technology (IMT) and intelligent manufacturing system (IMS). IMS (Intelligent Manufacturing System) is a man-machine integrated intelligent system composed of intelligent machines and human experts. In the manufacturing process, it can simulate the intelligent activities of human experts in analysis, reasoning, judgment, conception and decision-making with the help of computers in a highly flexible and integrated way, thus replacing or extending some human mental activities in the manufacturing environment. At the same time, collect, store, perfect, enjoy, inherit and develop the wisdom of human experts.

At present, the connection and global optimization of "automation islands" in various countries and regions and the unification of standards, data and man-machine interface make the research of distributed networked IMS (intelligent manufacturing system) increasingly urgent.

Discussion and research on 1 and distributed network IMS

Basic principles of CIMS

Based on the essential characteristics of IMS, in the distributed manufacturing network environment, according to the basic idea of distributed integration, the theory and method of multi-agent system in distributed artificial intelligence are applied to realize the flexible intelligent integration of manufacturing unit and networked manufacturing system. According to the isomorphic characteristics of distributed systems, a local implementation form based on IMS actually reflects the implementation of IMS in the global manufacturing network environment based on the Internet.

2) The basic concept of distributed network.

The essential feature of IMS is the autonomy of each manufacturing unit and the self-organizing ability of the whole system, and its basic mode is distributed multi-agent intelligent system. Based on this idea, considering the global manufacturing network environment based on the Internet, we can put forward the basic framework of distributed networked IMS suitable for small and medium-sized enterprises as shown in figure 1. On the one hand, each manufacturing unit is given autonomy through Agent, making it independent and functional; On the other hand, through the cooperation and collaboration between Agent, the system is endowed with self-organizing ability.
