Seeking metallurgical major? Cause analysis and preventive measures of breakout in continuous casting? Thesis!
There are very few papers about breakout in continuous casting on the Internet!

I have been engaged in continuous casting.

Let's talk about the reasons and preventive measures for the breakthrough ~

Causes of breakout in continuous casting;

1. Common causes of breakout in continuous casting

molten steel

If the temperature is too high, the pouring temperature of general steel (Q23 is column) shall be referred to.

crystallizer

Temperature 1520~ 1550.

2. Cause of crystallizer: The gap of water jacket in crystallizer assembly is uneven and partially blocked, resulting in poor local cooling and heat transfer effect and breakout.

Mould aging,

Moulded copper tube

The lower opening becomes larger (that is, the crystallizer will not fall)

cone

) can't break through coolly.

Mold quality problems, poor heat conduction effect, breakout.

Mold amplitude sum

conticaster

Mismatch and lifting steel caused serious breakout.

3. Water cooling system problem of continuous caster: the cooling water temperature of crystallizer is too high! (Generally, if it exceeds 30 degrees, we will consider it as high-temperature water. )

The inlet water pressure and flow rate of crystallizer are insufficient.

The second cooling water and third cooling water are too small.

Will affect the breakthrough.

4. Breakthrough caused by machinery: the key vibration problem (there are too many reasons, so I won't explain them one by one).

5. Operator: The steel slag is not fished out, resulting in

steel billet

slag inclusion

break jail

6. Composition of molten steel. . .

Preventive measures are very simple. To do the above six points well, please ask a steel wire drawing technician with higher technical experience to solve them.
