Introduction to Music Department of Xinghai Conservatory of Music

The Music Department was established in June 1997 and enrolled students in June 1998. Its predecessor was the Music Theory Teaching and Research Section (65438-0979), which was responsible for all public courses in history. At that time, the courses mainly included: foreign music history, China ancient music history, China modern music history, art introduction, China folk songs, music aesthetics, famous music works, music literature and so on. The Art Management Department of Xinghai Conservatory of Music was established in July 2006, formerly known as the Social Music Department. The teaching of musical instrument technology specialty first began in 1986. That year, students majoring in piano tuning in the middle school affiliated to our college entered school for three years. In September, 2002, with the approval of the Party Committee of the College, the first undergraduate majoring in piano tuning and maintenance was formally enrolled, and at the same time, many students majoring in piano tuning and maintenance were enrolled into the adult higher education level of the College.
