"Ten years of cold window, Yuxiu Lake strives for fragrance". From 65438 to 0994, Fu Zitang was admitted to Peking University, where he studied under Professor Zhao Zhenjiang and obtained a doctorate in law. Under the careful guidance of his tutor, he began to explore a new field-sociology of law. Legal sociology focuses on empirical research and pays attention to the actual social effects of the legal system. This research direction showed its importance and great charm in Peking University at that time, and its unique perspective of caring for society coincided with Fu Zitang's inherent thinking of seeking legal solutions to social problems. He keenly felt the great significance of this new research direction, resolutely chose the basic theory of legal function as the research topic of his doctoral thesis, and successfully completed the study of 1997, and obtained the doctor of law degree in Peking University.
19965438+In February, Fu Zitang entered the postdoctoral mobile station of Wuhan University, where he studied under the famous jurist Professor Li Long. Under the influence of Professor Li Long, he began to further think and study the basic issues of jurisprudence, especially social transformation and legal transformation. In the special period of social transformation and institutional innovation, what kind of function law can play, what kind of relationship between law and society, and what kind of relationship it should be, all these are puzzling him and puzzling him at the same time. Therefore, after 2000, he began to explore this issue, not only published his own articles such as Law and Society in China in Transition, but also guided his graduate students to conduct a comprehensive and in-depth study on this issue. By collecting more empirical materials, he applied his legal function theory to the study of social transformation and legal transformation. At the same time, through empirical research, he broadened, deepened, revised and developed the theory of legal function, so that theory and practice, ideal and reality reached a dynamic balance. 1.
