According to the sedimentary characteristics of this area in Dongying Depression, this paper analyzes the response characteristics of river sand bodies, introduces advanced exploration techniques and methods, describes the river sand bodies in detail, predicts the distribution of river sand bodies, looks for favorable traps, forms a description method of river sand bodies suitable for this area in Dongying Depression, and finds two favorable exploration target areas, among which Niuzhuang area has drilled into the river, which proves that the newly proven petroleum geological reserves are100000 tons.
