3. Simple understanding of ASP
The full name of ASP is: Active Server Pages, which is a server-side scripting environment. It can be used to create and run dynamic and interactive Web server applications. ASP can combine HTML pages, script commands and ActiveX components to create interactive Web pages and powerful Web-based applications. ASP applications are easy to develop and modify. Therefore, the author recommends that when teaching is busy, it is very suitable for educators to make interactive dynamic web pages with ASP to adapt to teaching.

1. Using easy-to-use scripting languages such as VBScript and JScript, combined with HTML code, you can quickly complete the writing of website applications.
2. No need to compile, simple to write, convenient to debug, and can be directly executed on the server side.
3. Use a common text editor, such as Windows Notepad, or edit and design in popular software, such as FRONTPAGE.
4. Browser independence. Clients can browse the contents of ASP pages by using a browser that can execute HTML code. The scripting languages (VBScript, Jscript) used by ASP are all executed on the WEB server side, and the browser of the client side is not required to be able to execute these scripting languages.
